STADIUM

The East Rowan High School Stadium is located in Salisbury, North Carolina. The stadium offers a well-maintained natural grass field with clearly marked yard lines. Our stadium provides ample seating for enthusiastic audiences, a press box with excellent visibility for judges and staff, and designated warm-up areas nearby. Our track around the field, makes for a useful tool in transporting props and front ensemble equipment. 

DIRECTIONS AND PARKING

East Rowan is located at 175 St. Lukes Church Rd, Salisbury NC 28146 approximately one hour away from both Charlotte and Greensboro. Please ensure that your school arrives from Highway 52 to enter the school grounds. Busses and equipment trucks/trailers will be directed to either one of two parking locations at East Rowan High School or Erwin Middle School. Buses and equipment will be parked together in the parking lot. Spectators or instructors who drive separately may not park within the band parking and must park in spectator parking.

REGISTRATION AND ADMISSION

When you arrive, please proceed directly to the registration tent located at the entrance to Erwin on St. Lukes Church Rd. East Rowan students will be waiting at the registration table to assist you around the campus on competition day. Directors will receive a packet that includes field passes for directors and staff, wristbands for student and equipment staff/drivers, maps for competition day, and awards retreat layout. If you are bringing additional staff than what you submitted in the competition registration form, please notify Director, Hannah Taylor before arriving at the competition so that we may be able to provide you with the correct number of wristbands for entry. Please ensure that all members of your staff/volunteers are wearing wristbands or a staff/directors pass for entrance into the stadium. Admission is $10.00. Any Rowan-Salisbury Schools staff that can provide your name badge will be admitted for free. No outside food or drink will be permitted in the stadium. All RSS policies must also be followed (i.e. no tobacco, firearms, alcohol, etc.)

INCLEMENT WEATHER

Should rain or inclement weather be in the forecast for the day, performances will be moved inside. The auditorium will be reserved for warm up, and the gymnasium will be utilized for performances. Seating in the East Rowan gymnasium is limited. Seating will be available on a first come, first served basis.
